Paneer tikka ingredients

  • Paneer 500 grams
  • Curd – 1/2 cup
  • Oil – 4 tbsp
  • Gram flour 2 tsp
  • Red chili powder – 2 tsp
  • Coriander powder – 2 tsp
  • Black pepper powder – 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder – 2 tsp
  • Garlic powder – 1 tsp
  • Chaat masala – 1 tsp
  • garam masala – 1 tsp
  • kasuri methi – 1-2 tsp
  • capsicum – green, red and yellow (1 each)
  • ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  • chopped coriander leaves chopped mint
  • lemon juice-half lemon
  • red food color – optional
  • salt to taste
  • butter – basting oil – for basting

Paneer tikka marination/ How to marinate paneer for bbq

To make Paneer Tikka, first cut the capsicum into big pieces and cut an onion into four pieces and take out its bud.

Now we will also cut the paneer into big pieces.

Next we will marinate the paneer, for that we will first take a bowl. In the bowl, we will put half a cup of curd, ginger-garlic paste, 3 to 4 spoons of oil and salt as per taste. I have used olive oil here, you can use any oil of your choice.

Next we will add gram flour, red chili powder, coriander powder, black pepper powder, cumin powder, garlic powder, chaat masala and garam masala powder.

Next we will add kasuri methi and some chopped fresh coriander leaves and mint leaves.

Next we will add the juice of half a lemon by squeezing it.

After adding all the ingredients for marination, mix everything well.

Next we will put paneer pieces and mix it very lightly so that paneer does not break at all.

Also add chopped capsicum and onion pieces and mix them with light hands.

All things have been marinated and cover and keep it for 20 to 25 minutes.

After 25 minutes, make a basket of aluminum foil and put 2 hot coals in it.

Now put a little oil in this basket in the middle of the marination and immediately cover the lid, open the lid only after 10 minutes.

Will take out the aluminum foil bowl. This process is being done for smoky flavor in paneer, you can skip it if you want.

Now we will take some skewers ,you can also take wooden skewers, but before making them, soak them in water for 30 minutes and then use them.

Now we will put the marinated paneer, capsicum and onion one by one on the skewers. First take 3 capsicum, then onion and then paneer. Prepare all the skewers in this pattern.

How to make paneer tikka in oven

First of all, prepare paneer skewers from the recipe given above.

To make Paneer Tikka in the oven, first of all preheat the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes.

Take an oven tray and put aluminum foil on it.
