  • 3 medium size onions
  • 1 tbsp garlic paste
  • 25 cashew nuts
  • 5 tbsp fresh cream
  • 4-5 tbsp coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1 tbsp roasted kasoori methi
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 50 g butter
  • 1-2 mace
  • 4 green cardamom
  • 1 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 6-7 tbsp oil

To make butter chicken, first wash the chicken and keep it in a bowl.

Making butter chicken starts with marination. First of all we will marinate the chicken. For marination we have to take curd, ginger garlic paste, salt and kashmiri red chilli and lemon juice.

Mix all the things well with the chicken with hands and keep it for at least half an hour. If you want, you can marinate it overnight and keep it in the fridge. While the chicken is marinating, let’s make the gravy.
