- 1 medium size onion roughly chopped

- 2 medium size tomatoes roughly chopped

- 2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- Paneer- 200 grams cut into cubes
- 1 cup water
- Salt to taste
- 2 cup frozen peas
- Chopped green coriander – 2 tbsp spoon
How To Make Matar Paneer Recipe step By step
To Make Easy Matar Paneer Recipe, first turn on the gas and keep a pan on the gas. As soon as the pan gets hot, we will add 2 tbsp oil. Here i am useing groundnut oil.You can use olive oil, coconut oil, and refined oil totally as per your choice.
Fry the onion lightly. Keep in mind that you have to fry the onion lightly, just till it gets a slight color.
Now we will add 2 medium sized chopped tomatoes and 2 green chilies. Mix everything and add salt as per taste. Tomatoes get cooked quickly by adding salt.
Open the lid after 2 minutes, you will see that the tomatoes have become slightly soft. At this stage just turn off the gas flame. And let the mixture cool down.
As soon as the mixture cools down, put it in a grinder and prepare a smooth paste and keep it aside.
Now take a pan and put it on the gas and put 2 tablespoons of oil in it and let it heat up. As soon as the oil becomes hot, we will add one and a half teaspoons of cumin seeds.
As soon as the cumin starts crackling, we will add one and a half teaspoons of red chili powder. Because we are adding red chillies powder in hot oil, you have to add the prepared blended paste immediately after adding red chillies powder, otherwise your chilli powder burns.
